Two HDMI outputs and one VGA output, CAYIN AI ticker translation and face detection in a player measuring 129 × 109.4 × 34 mm.
CAYIN Technology today announced the return of the SMP-2210, a compact digital signage player that drives three displays simultaneously. Built on the same compact form factor as the SMP-2200, the SMP-2210 adds a third video output and upgrades the processor from dual-core to quad-core. The upgrade enables system integrators and end users to expand screen coverage, deliver richer multimedia content, and deploy AI features without adding extra hardware footprint to the installation.
The SMP-2210 features two HDMI outputs and one VGA output. In retail environments, a single unit can power a menu board, a promotional screen, and a legacy VGA counter or wall-mounted monitor simultaneously. In a corporate lobby, it can power a video wall alongside an information display. Fewer players mean fewer devices to purchase, mount, power, and maintain, which lowers total project costs as deployments grow. The SMP-2210 supports four signal output modes: Single, Clone, Extended, and Distinct, enabling each screen to run synchronized or distinct content in either landscape or portrait orientation.
The SMP-2210 uses an Intel Apollo Lake quad-core processor, compared with the dual-core processor in the SMP-2200. Together with 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB SSD that can be upgraded to 256 GB, this provides the processing headroom required to run multi-zone layouts, HTML5 pages, live streams, and AI functions at the same time.
The SMP-2210 plays 1080p video at up to 30 Mbps and 60 fps, and 4K UHD H.264/H.265 video at up to 15 Mbps and 25 fps. It outputs up to 4K UHD at 30 Hz and supports H.265, which reduces video file sizes and saves storage and network bandwidth. Customers who already use the SMP-2200 can reuse their existing content and workflows on the SMP-2210 without conversion.
Integrated CAYIN AI automatically translates ticker announcements into multiple languages in real time, so one announcement can reach visitors from different countries without separate content versions. This suits airports, hotels, exhibition halls, and shopping districts where audiences speak many languages. The SMP-2210 also supports face detection through an IP camera or webcam, or through integration with QNAP QVR Face Insight and QVR Face Tiger. Operators can set the player to show specific content in full screen or inside a video zone when a face is detected, enabling audience-aware messaging in retail, food and beverage, healthcare, and finance.
The SMP-2210 has dual LAN ports and a built-in firewall, which help protect the player on open networks. It can run as a standalone player or be managed centrally via a CAYIN CMS server, with scheduling, remote monitoring, log reports, and firmware update notifications available for projects of any size.

The SMP-2210 is the right fit for retail chains, hotels, airports, exhibition halls, and corporate lobbies that need to run three screens from one player, and for existing SMP-2200 users whose projects now call for a third display or more processing headroom. System integrators can standardize on one compact model across menu boards, video walls, and AI-enabled displays, which keeps spare parts, training, and maintenance simple.
