A Quick Look into the
New CMS-WS Features

CAYIN Technology's widely popular cross-platform digital signage server, CMS-WS, has adopted three new features to enhance the user experience by making complex tasks more manageable.
The first of three is an Automated Video and Image Playlist. Users now have the convenience of scheduling their content on playlists ahead of time to prevent missing any deadlines, holidays, emergencies, etc. An expiration date can be set on all uploaded video or image files in a playlist and automatically played or stopped as per the desired dates.
Secondly, the File Conversion feature allows uploaded video files to be automatically converted without sacrificing picture resolution. Users can choose from 720P, 1080P, and bitrate through the CMS-WS conversion settings. Moreover, converted files can save data and server storage space while ensuring a smoother video playback.
The last new function is the Network Traffic Manager feature. Users can easily manage their video players' bandwidth through network traffic and access each player's real-time traffic and functioning status to stay up to date. The feature can also be a preventative safeguard, as users can observe and check large traffic spikes for any accidental operational mistakes or abnormal intrusions. To further improve playback fluency and stability, simply adjust the player's content based on performance results observed from the backend.
