CAYIN Technology Showcases Complete Portfolio of Digital Signage Solutions at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008
Taipei, Taiwan - May 30, 2008
Collaborative sponsorship marks the country’s first full-scale digital signage display at exhibition sites
CAYIN Technology, the professional supplier of digital signage solutions, will showcase its complete product portfolio at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008, which will be held from June 3 to June 7 in Taiwan. As the feature sponsor to glorify this year’s major event, CAYIN will sponsor Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the organizer of this major event, in presenting a full-scale digital signage system at three exhibition sites. In addition, CAYIN will launch its brand-new application software, the xPost series, in this year’s event.
Key highlight of CAYIN’s demonstration this year will be placed on the launch of its vertical-market-dedicated application software - the xPost series. At current stage, the xPost series features three main functions, including lobbyPost, meetingPost, and wayfinderPost, aiming to meet the needs of hotels and convention centers worldwide. As part of the Company’s non-stop efforts to cultivate its business in respective vertical markets, CAYIN will continue to enhance the features of the xPost series to better meet the unique needs of different vertical markets.
Other highlights will include compact media players, powerful central management server, and professional remote management software, which are branches of the Company’s sophisticated digital signage solutions. As a farsighted solution-provider, CAYIN is dedicated to support its users in enhancing their capacity in managing medium/large scale of digital signage deployment. For example, SuperMonitor and SuperReporter, the company’s anchor management software, are developed to assist the administrators to monitor and manage multiple servers and players, and generate status reports, respectively.
One of the most eye-catching features of this year’s COMPUTEX TAIPEI will be the 15 digital signage displayed at the main entrances and selected areas, including press centers and VVIP lounges, in the main exhibition halls of Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) and the new Nangang Exhibition Hall. This project marks the milestone for a complete display of networked digital signage to be introduced simultaneously at three exhibition sites in Taiwan for the first time. With the outstanding features of this unprecedented project, visitors will be able to watch the opening ceremony live from the digital signage. Furthermore, the signage located at different spots will also serve as an efficient promotional platform, leading visitors to featured activities and meetings faster and more easily.
Under CAYIN’s integral plan, each of the digital signage displays deployed will be equipped with an SMP player, and all of the players will be linked through the Internet and centrally managed by a CMS server. The CMS server will control the content of each player and assign the right messages to the right player at the right time. As the developer of the system, CAYIN will be able to monitor the status of each player instantaneously by its SuperMonitor to ensure a smooth operation of the system.
Co-sponsors of this project include Chi Lin and Modernsolid, which respectively provide LCD screens and mounting solutions to complete the full-scale digital signage system. This joint effort is expected to help boost the presence of the three companies in the digital signage industry, both locally and globally.
COMPUTEX TAIPEI is the largest information technology (IT) exhibition in Asia and the second largest one worldwide, following CeBIT in Germany.
