CAYIN Digital Signage in FamilyMart, Taiwan

FamilyMart, a leading international brand of convenience store originally from Japan, has decided in 2006 to leverage its strength in retail to adopt in-store TV in its high density outlets in Taiwan. CAYIN Technology’s digital signage solution can well meet the critical needs of large-scale projects and have been chosen for this project.

Around 3,000 screens and players in totally 1,500 stores have been rolled out in FamilyMart in 2007. The project team involves a number of local partners. CAYIN Technology also provides services of server hosting, content update, management of playlists, live system monitoring, and complete reporting of the system and playback details.

CAYIN’s Digital Signage solution is being deployed at FamilyMart outlets to present appealing and flexible media composition. Content on the screen includes daily news, commercial videos, life information, ticker text (RSS feeds and promotional messages) and various Flash banners. Most stores installed two 32” LCD displays, one in store for the shoppers and the other behind the store window for the outside pedestrians. 

For more than 1 year (until Aug 2007), CAYIN has been offering the above-mentioned services to PilotTV (www.pilottv.com.tw), which is operating the advanced media channel, and the FamilyMart in-store TV system has been running everyday with eye-catching information and promotion based on the reliable platform and services.
