SMP-PRO4, which features an AV-in connection, can play real-time video by directly connecting to a TV tuner, DVD player, USB Camera (UVC compatible), etc. You can show TV programs, movies, and even surveillance video to enrich digital signage networks.
SMP-PRO4 is equipped with pre-designed skins and stylish clocks for users to create attractive presentations easily. You can also design your own templates and clocks freely by CAYIN Skin Editor, an intuitive drag-and-drop tool to define the size and the location of each zone.
Administrators can easily check log records and some important indexes, such as CPU temperature, to perform troubleshooting remotely. Whenever an abnormal situation occurs, the self-repair mechanism (hardware watchdog timer) of SMP-PRO4 enables the system to restart automatically. Administrators can also choose to restore configurations or recover system immediately, whenever it is necessary.
SMP-PRO4, utilized embedded technology, is equipped with a low power CPU/Chipset and reduces power consumption by 60% to 70%, compared to a PC.
SMP-PRO4 can even turn on and off remote screens immediately whenever it is necessary or based on a pre-set schedule. Volume can also be lowered automatically at night. One can control this by your pre-set schedule so that the volume being used will become more environmentally-friendly.
Administrators can manage each SMP digital signage appliance remotely by a web-based user interface via wired or wireless network. The web-based user interface supports 10 built-in languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Japanese, Thai, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. Furthermore, the ticker can support increasingly popular languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Thai, Hebrew, and many more.
Multimedia content can be updated manually by USB flash drive (offline), FTP, and Network Neighborhood. You can also use the CAYIN CMS server to update the player’s content automatically through LAN or the Internet based on the pre-set schedule.
Administrators can edit a schedule directly on an individual SMP media player. They can also choose to centrally control multiple players in groups by a CMS server. After a playlist is edited, the player will playback multimedia content based on this pre-set schedule.
