Location based advertising
Taiwanese company Cayin introduces a media server that is able to operate 60 displays. These displays can be placed at sites where people have to line up to wait, such as at the counter in shops, at the reception, at the airport check-in desk, or in busses.
The attached picture is divided into three parts: a central part for video, a small line above for scrollable headlines or special offers, and on the left 3 positions for advertisements.
Each individual display (location) is able to show different video images or special offers. This can be preset via a server for each individual screen. The company also supplies interactive displays, e.g. to rewind a video program.
